<p>Packed with generous invocations of religious iconography inspired by <em>Candomblé</em> (a traditional Afro-Brazilian religion) and Afro-surrealist depictions of spiritual resistance, <em><strong>CARRANCA</strong></em> is a kinetic and immediate work that challenges Eurocentric narratives around nationality, culture, and racial identity.</p>
