Lady Shaka

Lady Shaka is a DJ and interdisciplinary artist of Pacific Island, Indigenous Māori and Cape Verdean descent originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand), based in London, United Kingdom. Her musical selection is a representation of both her queer identity as a fem queen and her connection to the moana (ocean) and the diasporas she belongs to. Lady Shaka is a part of the new generation of young Pasifika artists that aim to re-indigenise and challenge the mainstream with music and art that is both cultural, ancestral and representative of the Pasifika experience. She was recognised for her efforts at the 2023 Pacific Music Awards and was awarded the ‘Creative New Zealand Award’ that recognises Pacific Island musicians creating genre bending contemporary music in the industry.

Hockey Dad

What began as something to do while there was no surf has become so much more for Zach Stephenson and Billy Fleming aka Hockey Dad.

In 2013 the two, who have been friends sincerely childhood started jamming in their parent’s garage because there were no waves. With Zach on guitar/vocals and Billy behind the drum kit the two quickly progressed to writing their own songs and had a set together to start playing some shows locally across Wollongong. Ten years on and Hockey Dad now have an EP, four full length albums and a live record under their belt and have headlined tours across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Canada, the USA and UK as well as played main stage sets at some of the worlds biggest festivals. In the process they duo have earned themselves gold and platinum records in Australia, two top 10 chart positions and a loyal set of fans that have sold out shows at some of music’s most iconic venues. Their fourth album, 2024’s ‘Rebuild Repeat’, marked a turning point in the boy’s sound and has been praised as their most impressive release to date.

Rain Dogs

Rain Dogs are an electronic post-punk trio from Melbourne, Australia, consisting of vocalist Tom Murchie, bassist Luke Scott, and guitarist Jushung Lam. Known for their elusive presence and gothic, discordant, vampiric sound, the band has quickly built a strong underground following. Their debut EP was released on Melbourne-based label Jpeg Artefacts to significant underground acclaim.

In early 2025, Rain Dogs completed a successful tour of China and Japan, followed by their first EU/UK tour later that year, playing shows in Paris, Berlin, London, Belgrade, and Tbilisi.

Dutch born, Aotearoa raised and now residing on Gadigal land, Air Max ‘97 is a singular artist in the electronic music ecosystem. His restless dancefloor focused productions explore the nexus of rhythm and sound design, unbothered by tempo or genre constraints. His recent output includes a string of releases on his own label DECISIONS, an appearance on fabric Originals’ compilation ‘SELECTS I’, acclaimed 12-inch singles on Batu’s Timedance label, as well as collaborative releases as Loppy B with SCAM and A2A with Aya.

Reknowned for whipping up frothy dancefloors the world over, Air Max ‘97 is a magnetic presence as a DJ. His sets work out body and mind, serving high energy, bass rich club gear with a generous dose of playful left turns.

Geoblu

A staple of the UK underground, Geoblu has fostered a strong sense of community through his work as both a performer and curator. His London-based flagship event series, Geo Presents, has showcased artists such as Bawo, Deema, DXVL, Danny Sanchez and Ashbeck. He has also hosted weekly radio shows including The Geoblu Show on Fuse FM and London Underground on Itch FM, and is a regular guest on Reprezent Radio. Alongside this, Geoblu previously served as labelhead of Bonzeye, an imprint of UK label Black Butter Records dedicated to supporting emerging underground talent.

Laces

Melbourne/Naarm-based DJ and eclectic producer Laces is a mainstay across Australia’s electronic underground, negating and challenging genre boundaries. Laces released his debut EP FIELD FALLACY XVI on Nina Las Vegas’ label NLV Records in 2021, swiftly followed by his club-centric remix EP FIELD FALLACY HAPTICS, Laces spearheaded the hardstyle revival within online music communities and Naarm’s underground club scene. The same year, leading single ‘The Ridge’ was featured prominently in the iPhone 13 Pro advertising campaign across in-store billboards and social media. Laces concluded 2021 with a nationwide tour, further solidifying Laces’ place in the Australian dance scene.

Continuing to evolve his sound, Laces explored new sonic territories in 2022 with tracks like ‘Pace’, featuring UK-based Illegal Data producer TEEN, a dreamy composition of fluttering percussion, and ‘ei09k’, a brutish club synth opera. He also collaborated with fellow electronic artists Ninajirachi, Kenta204, Scan, and Sus1er.

DC Maxwell is a Melbourne based, Aotearoa raised alternative rock artist whose music blends poetic lyricism with a high octane punk performance. The former front man of high-octane punk band Roidz (Danger Collective Records), the band developed a cult following particularly in the US where they toured several times, and were known for hectic and unhinged live shows before disbanding in 2020.
