Speaking to their new label home, 1300 share “We’re excited to work with Universal Music Korea on this new chapter of 1300. The team is aligned on our vision for the project, going back to our roots and making art that draws from the past and makes us hyped up for the future. We hope to reach more people with the support of UMK and their global infrastructure and connect the dots across cultures, as our music naturally does.”
Reflective of the unique position they occupy, ‘clear out the room’ is a palette cleanser for the group. This call to action, backed with icy beats and bass-boosted vocals, signals 1300’s latest era. A loading screen for their album in waiting, ‘clear out the room’ bubbles with all the mechanisms before the drop. Subtle flows and increasingly hyped instrumentation sets the calm before the drop tone of the imminent ILLSAMGONGGONG with a track no doubt set to signal circle pits at the next 1300 live show.

ILLSAMGONGGONG – the Korean spelling of one three hundred – conceptually follows their path back to each other, rediscovering their drive after moments of dysphoria.
More hopeful and optimistic than the dark George mixtape and a little older than the youthful optimism of Foreign Language, together with their forthcoming debut album 1300 paint the defining moments of their friendship and relationship as a band. Here DALI, goyo, rako, Nerdie and pokari paint their journey of brotherhood, from team to family, steadily rebuilding their connection to each other and the project. Make no mistake though, 1300 are hungrier than ever to make you move above all else. “We want people to party, stop being sad and shit,” they share, with a simple motto: “life’s too short not to dance.”
