Alex Cameron announces national headline tour; joins The Killers Australian and NZ shows
Australian artist Alex Cameron today announces a national headline tour this April/May.
The tour comes off the back of impressive sets at this year’s Laneway Festival, alongside a run of sold out headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland last month. Stopping off in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth for headline shows at The Foundry, Manning Bar, Croxton Bandroom and Amplifier, Alex Cameron will continue on the road with The Killers across a run of ANZ arena dates. Tickets are on sale now, see all details below.
Joining Alex Cameron across his headline Australian tour will be Sydney-based, four-piece Body Type. Winners of FBi Radio’s 2017 SMAC Awards for ‘Next Big Thing’ and ‘Best Live Act’, Body Type have been capturing the ears and hearts of music fans and industry alike with their wistful, self-described “scuzz rock” as heard across singles ‘Ludlow’, ‘Break Down‘, ‘264’ and ‘Silver’.
The second set of Australia tour dates for 2018, Alex Cameron returns home, with full band on hand, following a busy year of releases and touring from his celebrated second record Forced Witness (Secretly Canadian) featuring special features from Angel Olsen and Brandon Flowers (The Killers), collabs with The Killers on the band’s fifth studio album Wonderful Wonderful and a string of headline shows and supports alongside the likes of Foxygen, Mac DeMarco, Kevin Morby, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Angel Olsen across dates throughout North America, Europe and the U.K.
