Directed by Morian Mikhail, the visual brings to life the deeply palpable complex nature of love rampant with desire, loss and immense yearning and lined with Rose’s fierce vulnerability and authenticity that reveals a new universe of Rose’s creation rooted in her love for analog.
This new chapter carries through Rose’s singular sound with a newly found evolution from a renewed sense of self. With a tone that feels lived-in and timeless, Rose pulls from soul, gospel, jazz, rock and R&B, infused with the spirits of the greats that defined the Muscle Shoals era and pivotal female artists that changed the face of music such as Etta James, Nina Simone, Janis Joplin and more, while grounding her sound firmly in the present. Her music is intimate and cinematic, the kind that lingers long after the last note fades.

The release follows a breakout cinematic moment for Rose in A24’s film Materialists, starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal. In addition to contributing ‘I’ll Be Your Mirror’ and ‘That’s All’ to the Materialists soundtrack, Rose made a captivating on-screen appearance, further cementing her status as a multi-dimensional talent in the global arena.
