An artist known for his blend of club culture and cutting-edge world-inspired, jazz-inflected electronic dance music, Barry Can’t Swim’s sound is quintessentially eclectic, grounded by the fans and those around him. Inspiring the new wave in the UK electronic scene, his debut 2023 album When Will We Land? finished at #12 in the UK album charts, marking the highest album finish of any solo, independent, electronic artist in the UK since Jamie xx in 2011.

Since the release of When Will We Land?, Barry Can’t Swim has been soundtracking dancefloor euphoria across the world, taking stage at Coachella and Glastonbury, selling out UK and North American tours, and currently on tour across Aotearoa/New Zealand and Australia with Laneway Festival. His latest single, the undeniably catchy and club-ready ‘Still Riding’, arrived to huge international response in October last year and is now here and ready to soundtrack our summer. 

As his only headline date outside of his Laneway Festival run, Barry Can’t Swim is set to deliver a whirlwind experience, described as a “defining live act” (Rolling Stone) that is “warm, uplifting and hugely danceable” (The Guardian). The show will be joined by SHEE, Irish DJ and producer most known for his emotive and progressive dancefloor cuts including ‘Hold On’ with 49th & Main and the nostalgia-infused ‘win your love’.
