Bien et Toi, the project of LA-based producer and songwriter Gianluca Buccellati today reveals his new EP Voici. LISTEN HERE.

A prolific collaborator, Bien et Toi marks the pursuit of solo direction to further shape a sound on Buccellati’s own terms. Bridging downtempo electronica with graceful experimentation, Voici is a sophisticated release that weighs into the contemporary iterations of chillout music that roams far and wide. Artfully combining multitudes of genre, Bien et Toi takes the opportunity to expand on his musical horizons, subverting traditional electronic forms to deliver a dream-beat, soulful and purposeful sound.

With his last solo release, the 2022 London Safari EP helming press breakthroughs including The New York Times, GUAP and Notion, his previous single ‘Vous Venez Souvent Ici?’ saw support across 10 Magazine, Pilerats and SYN FM among others. Today, Bien et Toi’s sphere of music welcomes brand new tracks ‘Bounty’, ‘Busy With It’, ‘Jenny’ ‘Time Glows’ and EP spotlight, the shapeshifting ‘Haiku’. Voici sees Buccellati incorporating his strengths to turn a new sonic corner, injecting moments of catharsis through a mix of intricate production with hip-house vocals, the result of which sounds right at home.

“Voici translates to ‘here’, and this collection of songs was created when I was in a completely carefree state of flow” Buccellati shares. “After my last EP, I wanted to create a body of work that had less features and felt more personal. This EP is for people to let loose to, a soundtrack for pool parties or warmer nights – some heat for anyone to play when they get the aux.”

Bien et Toi is the project of Mercury and BRIT award-winning, GRAMMY and Ivor Novello nominated producer Gianluca Buccellati. Over the course of his expansive career, Buccellati has lent a hand in producing for artists including Lana Del Rey (Lust For Life), Biig Piig (The Sky is Bleeding), Tei Shi, Paris Texas, Declan McKenna, and largely for Arlo Parks’ Mercury Prize-winning, GRAMMY-nominated 2021 debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams.
