Today, Christopher Port returns with his new single ‘Nobody Chose You’, which premiered on triple j’s Home & Hosed with Dom Alessio overnight.  The track is a taste of what’s to come on his forthcoming Everything in Quotes “DARK” EP out October 20 via a collaboration between two of Australia’s leading independent tastemakers, Pieater and Future Classic. ‘Nobody Chose You’ sees a softer, more subtle take on UK Garage with its long, sweeping synth lines dancing around skilfully arranged vocal cuts. Everything In Quotes “DARK” will be the third release from the Melbourne-born producer Christopher Port who was first introduced to audiences playing drums for Jack Grace, Airling, #1 Dads and Big Scary all the while, quietly but fervently chipping away at his unique take on garage dance music.  Now a name for himself, Port has produced tracks for upcoming local artists such as Annie Bass and Buoy, played a string of headline and festival sets at Paradise Music Festival, Melbourne Music Week, Volumes and Splendour In The Grass.
