Following the release of her hyper-pop single ‘boys wanna txt (feat. ericdoa)‘, Filipino-Australian artist daine announces her debut live performance at Daine and Friends with special guests Darcy Baylis, L0NE, and Webby this Jun 5 at Kindred Studios in Melbourne. See dates and details below. 

In the space of a year, daine has gone from releasing her debut single, to leading a new generation of DIY artists building uncompromising sonic worlds from their own bedrooms. Most recently with ‘boys wanna txt (feat. ericdoa)‘, daine drew praise from all corners including landing the cover of Spotify‘s Hyperpop playlist, The Guardian UK‘s ‘Track Of The Week‘, i-D, DUMMY, DIY, Dork, PAPER, NME, The Face, triple j, FBi Radio, and countless more. ‘Transposing her love of midwestern emo into her own future-facing wrought atmospheres, daine quickly amassed an online following amongst those with a post-modern approach to enjoying music.

With performances withheld throughout her launch year, daine will finally hit the stage for her debut live performance in 2021. Taking place at Victoria’s Kindred Studios, the show will reflect daine’s DIY ethos, with a hand-curated lineup of friends and special guests from across Melbourne’s underground & hardcore scenes.
