Erika Ever and Porcelain collide on ‘Crash’
PRAISE FOR Erika Ever

‘Crash‘ is out now, buy/stream here.
Today, Naarm/Melbourne-based DJ and producer Erika Ever shares her frenzied new single ‘Crash’ via NLV Records, featuring Eora/Sydney-based duo Porcelain Boy. LISTEN HERE.
Following her debut single ‘2 Hours’ featuring Teether, turning heads from the likes of Mixmag ANZ, 10 Magazine, triple j Unearthed and fbi.radio since its May release, ‘Crash’ brings together frenetic vocal chops and high-energy electroclash. On the song, Erika shares, “Crash is a bit of a warped take on some of the late 2000’s dance music I grew up listening to, and was so fun to make.”
Primed for a brash and brazen hook – “dress for the crash, never the ride” – Porcelain Boy were the first people Erika had in mind to jump onto the track. The musical project of Jordyn Mamora and JordanBlaik, the pair craft a sound built on contrast: oscillating between euphoric and abrasive, synthetic and human, chaotic and precise. After gaining attention from their debut EP pocket full of teslas in 2024, the duo have become darlings of the live scene, supporting Babymorocco, Eartheater, Grandson, and Cortisa Star.

First making her mark as a DJ under her former alias Chaotiic Good, Erika Ever’s work as a producer rallies the community she’s built through her years on the circuit. Advancing towards a collaborator-heavy debut EP, her releases are charged with club-focused energy, incorporating electroclash, witch house, and global club sounds.
An established champion of Australia’s electronic underground, last weekend saw Erika launch her flagship live series EVER+EVER in Naarm/Melbourne. Presented by NLV Records at a sold-out Milney’s, the first instalment of the event hosted DJ sets from Erika, Kenta204, and Porcelain Boy, and live sets from LUCID X0 and nabii.
With a live resume boasting support slots for artists including Underscores, Ninajirachi, daine, and festival sets at Beyond The Valley, Ability Fest and Vivid Sydney, tonight Erika will be taking on Vari4nc3 at Miscellania in Naarm/Melbourne, before heading to Meanjin/Brisbane in September as part of the BIGSOUND 100 Festival showcase line-up. Capping off the year, Erika will be taking the stage at Spilt Milk in Geelong, sharing the line-up with headliners Lewis Capaldi and RAYE.
