Charismatic Trinidadian born, Eora / Sydney-based artist Gold Fang today drops his new single, ‘Move Like This’. LISTEN HERE.

Following the momentum from his 2023 releases ‘Badness Issa Habit‘ and ‘Pull It Up‘, ‘Move Like This’ transitions from a dark, grime hybrid to a breezy summer cut, offering a wide angle of his sonic landscape that explores a soothing palette on his reggae sound. Produced by UK based J.Ar.J, Gold Fang’s personality shines through as he synthesises the laid-back rhythms of reggae with mellow synths, warm keys and a smooth saxophone solo to create a backdrop that puts his versatility on full display.

Of the release, Gold Fang shares a straight-forward message – “This song is simple, follow the instructions.” A contagious listen that pulls together Gold Fang’s playfulness and high-energy eclecticism, ‘Move Like This’ balances the groove-driven impulses of Anderson .Paak with the high gloss of Bad Bunny, again made possible by to grant funding from the PPCA. With the release comes visualiser crafted by SErwah Attafuh.

With the previously released ‘Pull It Up‘ and ‘Badness Issa Habit‘, Gold Fang continues to canvass his own experiences with identity, culture, talent, and community in the pursuit of music. Embraced by triple j, FBi Radio, Red Bull, NME, Acclaim Magazine, Music Feeds, Sniffers and more who have praised his “smooth grooves of reggae” (triple j) that has “cemented him as a leading artist in a new wave of diverse talent” (Tone Deaf) that “sounds like nothing else in the scene right now” (Acclaim Magazine).
