Hook Shares New Video For “Fall In Luh” + Confirms SXSW
Riverside rapper Hook today releases a new video for “Fall In Luh” from her most recent album, Crashed My Car, released with LA producer Nedarb. The 21-year-old will also play this year’s SXSW as well as two upcoming East Coast shows, all dates below.
Watch “Fall In Luh” HERE.
Says Hook on the new video, “You see your man every week, I see him once a month but wait- he still gone fall in luh!;)” Video was last minute, so we kind of had to wing it cause my hair was the same color as the green screen. Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” video popped into my mind immediately.”
Boasting a fierce bravado, Hook’s razor-sharp bars are paired with a diverse beat selection, resulting in an indefinable blend of melodic trap, uptempo hyphy, and woozy g-funk. She’s made early fans at The Fader, NPR Music, Pitchfork, Complex, and more.
Catch Hook live this spring and stay tuned for moe news coming soon.
Praise for Hook’s Crashed My Car:
“Inspired by an actual car crash, Hook’s latest album is an arsenal of scorched-earth daggers, the rapper’s voice sucking up all the breathing room like fumes from the wreckage.”
