Through The Truth Is Infront Of You, ICYKOF expands on his attention to genre, paving his name as a techno artist that has his feet firmly planted in London’s evolving contemporary underground. Known for creating The Unknown Vlogs – a streetwear YouTube phenomenon boasting over a million subscribers – ICYKOF’s authentic cultural storytelling reached guests including Kendrick Lamar and Drake, and now fully immersed in music, his creative output continues to captivate.

Exploring intersections of identity, nightlife and sound with the same instinct that built his name in fashion, ICYKOF’s craft is on full display in The Truth Is Infront Of You, a deeply intentional release that presents the scope of his creative ambitions. With his debut EP ZERO SUGAR launched just this year, ICYKOF’s breakout from the fashion world brought a fresh perspective to DIY Detroit techno and Chicago house, bound by influences including Underground Resistance and Robert Hood.

Now with The Truth Is Infront Of You, ICYKOF opens up his world and presents a deep excavation of his ability to fuse his own experiences and stories with an uncompromising vision. Of the release he shares “[The Truth Is Infront Of You] is me letting people in. I’ve kept my private life mostly hidden away from cameras, even though I’ve been documenting some of my life to the world for over a decade. This EP shows the inner circle of my world. It’s rock, it’s fun. It’s shut up and listen.”

Joining the previously released nod to working the fashion industry ‘Designer’ comes ‘My Feet Don’t Touch The Ground’, which details the euphoria of the club world, and ‘Provocative’; a celebration of overcoming confrontation. “I hate confrontation my whole life. This is a personal issue I’ve faced and can comfortably say, overcome in my almost 30s” ICYKOF shares. “This is a trophy song. A celebration of overcoming your deepest battles holding you back. Now you’re free to be punk. It’s the attitude, keeps me locked in. This is a new Era of ICYKOF and in the visualiser you can see me overcoming this with one big hit.”
