Today, rising seductress of the underground Luvcat unveils ‘Blushing’, her most flirtatious track to date, and the latest single from her hotly anticipated debut album Vicious Delicious, due October 31st via AWAL. A dreamlike odyssey of glamour and grit, ‘Blushing’ glows with romantic nostalgia, chronicling the meteoric rise of an artist who traded in late-night shifts and lipstick-smudged daydreams for festival stages and far-flung cities. LISTEN HERE + PRE-SAVE THE LP HERE.

A track that straddles the cinematic and the confessional, ‘Blushing’ offers a rare glimpse beneath Luvcat’s veil of mystery. At its core it is a love letter to the pursuit of something more – more romance, more freedom, more belief in the beautiful unknown. Swirling with glittering guitar solos, sultry saxophones, and Luvcat’s signature velvet vocals, it plays like the soundtrack to a film that never ends – a hazy, jet-set fantasy shot through rose-tinted lenses.

Speaking on the track, Luvcat shares, “Blushing started off as a kind of flirtation, full of young lust and longing. I added the bridge very recently at the end of recording the album and it became more of a reflection on the wild ride of the last year. Being in a band, falling in love with each other, quickly going from gigging in the pub in Liverpool to playing festivals in Tokyo. So now it feels like it’s really about the beauty and chaos of just being a girl. With a circus inside her.”

As buzz builds towards the Halloween drop of Vicious Delicious and her globe-spanning tour, ‘Blushing’ stands as a glistening milestone in a journey that’s already being hailed as the rise of a cult icon. The new single lands as Luvcat continues a packed run of European festival dates including performances at Sziget, Lowlands, Musikfestwochen, Pukkelpop and Rock en Seine – where she graced the same stages as icons including Chappell Roan and Suki Waterhouse – before returning to the UK at the end of this month for appearances at Reading & Leeds Festival. The fun is set to continue later into the year with a huge UK, EU and US tour run – full dates HERE.

Vicious Delicious promises to be a whirlwind ride through love, lust and the lunacy in between. Written between Parisian escapades, impromptu studio sessions, and whirlwind romances, the record fuses dark fairytale storytelling with prowling jazz, punk romanticism, and a splash of gothic sparkle. From fan-favourite murder ballads (‘He’s My Man’) to sex-tape serenades (‘Love & Money’) to the delicious danger of the title track, it’s a no-holds-barred debut from an artist quickly becoming a cult icon.

Speaking on her debut, Luvcat adds: “Making this album happened accidentally. Amongst the madness of the last year I decided I didn’t wanna fuck around with EPs or mixtapes. I really wanted to make my first proper statement and when I found out Halloween fell on a Friday, I knew we had to be fast to get it together. Its lipsticks a little smudged and its stockings are a little torn, but I am so proud of how we’ve captured this strange, magical story and all the lovers and libertines I’ve met along the way. I think the record is old school romance slightly off its hinges. A swinging pendulum between love and addiction, ecstasy and melancholy, eroticism and innocence, the deliciously vicious and the viciously delicious.”

Since her explosive debut with ‘Matador’, Luvcat has seduced a fast-growing global fanbase with her intoxicating mix of noir glamour, heart-on-sleeve vulnerability and razor-sharp wit. In just over a year, she’s racked up 30M+ career streams across five singles, sold out tours across the UK, EU, and US, and amassed a devoted following who dress like her, quote her lyrics, and travel continents to be part of the myth. Tipped as one of the Top 3 Artists to Watch in 2025 by Rolling Stone UK, Clash, Notion, Billboard UK, The Independent and more, Luvcat’s star is fast ascending. With over 35 festivals scheduled this season (including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Radio 1’s Big Weekend), the Vicious Delicious era continues with fire in its belly and lipstick on its collar.

Whether she’s spinning tales of sailors or selling out jazz clubs and headline shows in minutes, Luvcat remains a shapeshifter — part rock’n’roll siren, part Moulin Rouge dream. Raised on a curious cocktail of The Cure and The Rat Pack, with a dash of Nick Cave and a love of eyeliner-soaked drama, Luvcat’s music fuses theatrical decadence with raw emotional electricity. From Liverpool’s backstreets to impromptu Parisian adventures, each track is a chapter in her ever-growing legend.
