Introducing the Northern Rivers-based garage rock band GREG with their second-ever single, ‘THINK LESS’—a raspy high-energy track that channels the tension between personal comfort and professional chaos. LISTEN ON SPOTIFY + APPLE MUSIC + AMAZON MUSIC + WATCH HERE.
Led by frontman Toby Cregan (formerly of Skegss), alongside Zar Harper and Louie O’Riordan, GREG makes music that gives equal parts nostalgia and self-doubt, mixing coward rock and pancake punk. At the project’s heart lies friendship, a bond that motivates the purest passion – creating to connect.
Initially conceived as two separate songs that naturally merged into one, ‘THINK LESS’ captures the push and pull of finding solace at home while battling the frustrations of work life. Cregan explains, “It’s a love song to my dog Blaze but also about a bully telling you what to do in a nasty way. I guess it’s about home life being nice but work life being fucked :)”

Following their triple j-approved debut single ‘SUBARU’, which dropped in November last year, GREG hit the road alongside Dune Rats on a 14-day run of summer regional shows across their If It Sucks, Turn It Up tour. Now, with ‘THINK LESS’, the band continues to build momentum, delivering another gritty, hook-laden anthem marking their entry into Australia’s garage rock scene.
GREG is a band.
Started in 2024 by three semi-washed-up rockers having a crack for a thrill.
Born in Melbourne, New Zealand, and Nowra, their music gives equal parts nostalgia and self-doubt, they mix coward rock and pancake punk—whatever that means.
People say GREG might do something.
They hope so too.
