The Guardian

“On her first mixtape, Ninajirachi takes listeners on a rollercoaster ride through fully realised worlds of pseudo-ambient IDM, ultra-shimmery hyperpop and deftly meticulous, boundary-pushing aquacrunk”

NME

“Her music has a shimmery, fractal, fantastical quality balanced with the toughness of bass that bangs in a way that makes you want to get off your butt and get moving”

Billboard

“Second Nature showcases Ninajirachi’s talents as a producer, with a precise ear for detail and a singular ability for immersive world-building”

FBi Radio

“Every release from Ninajirachi showcases a new side of the rising artist we haven’t seen before”

This Song Is Sick

“Ninajirachi is quite the in-demand producer, so much so that Montaigne, one of Australia’s most established and sonically interesting pop performers of the last several years, reached out to her before her debut mixtape had even dropped”

Rolling Stone

“Ninajirachi is an artist constantly pushing forward”

‘Ninacamina’ by Ninajirachi and Izzy Camina is out now, buy/stream here.

Ahead of her 4×4 North American tour, burgeoning Australian electronic music producer Ninajirachi today unveils her next wave of new music, teaming up with LA-based multi-hyphenate artist Izzy Camina for the aptly titled ‘Ninacamina’. LISTEN HERE.

Sitting between bloghouse era electro and futuristic, left field club, ‘Ninacamina’ marks the first collaboration for the pair. Off the back off her 2023 EP 4×4, Ninajirachi joins Izzy Camina, LA-based artist and self described ‘Atari Teenage Britney Spears’, known for her self-produced EP Nihilist In The Club and 2023 cyber spiritualist offering ANG3L NUMB3RS. In a coalescence of forward-thinking, female producer-multi-hyphenates, Izzy Camina’s icy vocals and metallic edge join Ninajirachi’s cutting edge dance production on ‘Ninacamina’ – a track that feels like stepping into a strobe light as it conjures up an insatiable bassline and elastic beat synonymous with Ninajirachi’s existing pop-inflicted palette.

Ninajirachi shares “My collaboration with Izzy started over a year ago as a remix and later evolved into something completely new. I love marrying the icy, textural side of my production with early EDM sounds, the kind of music that made me want to become a producer when I was a child. I only hope I can keep getting better at it.” Izzy Camina shares on the inspiration behind the track, “Cement and ‘Earth’ synonymous with love and human affection. It grounds us but also traps us, seeping into everything. It’s sticky and we can’t remove it. We are stuck.” In celebration of the release, Izzy Camina will be joining Ninajirachi on two dates in Ninajirachi’s 4×4 North America tour, stepping on stage in Los Angeles and New York. See BELOW for all tour details.

In late 2023, Ninajirachi shared her 4×4 EP which marked a new era, drawing from her earliest influences  of electronic music and collected praise from triple j, Crack Magazine, Clash Magazine, Bandcamp, Billboard, Rolling Stone, 10 Magazine and more. This followed her collaborative single with ISOxo and 2022 debut mixtape Second Nature, which saw her move the needle and attribute an impressive list of major career milestones including NME Magazine Australia’s cover story, playlisting on triple j, Best of the Year placements in The Guardian Australia and NME Magazine Australia, and a nomination for Record of the Year at FBi Radio’s SMAC Awards in November last year.

Having firmly cemented her position in the Australian industry and international music landscape, Ninajirachi has taken flight, touring North America in 2023 with festival performances at Lollapalooza, Hard Summer, Breakaway Festival and Imagine Festival. The uniqueness of her abilities extends past virtual limits, with a touring history that includes support shows with Mallrat, Charli XCX, What So Not, and Cashmere Cat. In 2023, Ninajirachi set the touring circuit alight with sold-out headline shows in both Eora / Sydney and Naarm / Melbourne and a busy festival season playing Dark Mofo, Wildlands, Beyond The Valley, Field Day and Spilt Milk, of which NME Australia praised her as “the most underrated artist in Australian dance music.”
