“'Petroleum'”

Apple Music's Top 200 Songs of 2022

“Second Nature is a flex of glitchy, industrial pop that builds its own unpredictable world while remaining danceable and fun. You can chew on the mixtape’s cerebral elements or just sweat it out, though either way Wilson’s dense production rewards repeat listens”

The Guardian

“On her first mixtape, Ninajirachi takes listeners on a rollercoaster ride through fully realised worlds of pseudo-ambient IDM, ultra-shimmery hyperpop and deftly meticulous, boundary-pushing aquacrunk”

NME

“Her music has a shimmery, fractal, fantastical quality balanced with the toughness of bass that bangs in a way that makes you want to get off your butt and get moving”

Billboard

“Second Nature showcases Ninajirachi’s talents as a producer, with a precise ear for detail and a singular ability for immersive world-building”

FBi Radio

“Every release from Ninajirachi showcases a new side of the rising artist we haven’t seen before”

This Song Is Sick

“Ninajirachi is quite the in-demand producer, so much so that Montaigne, one of Australia’s most established and sonically interesting pop performers of the last several years, reached out to her before her debut mixtape had even dropped”

Rolling Stone

“Ninajirachi is an artist constantly pushing forward”

‘1×1 ft. Ravenna Golden’ is out now, buy/stream it here.

Thriving electronic producer Ninajirachi today unveils her latest single ‘1×1’ featuring LA-based electropop singer-songwriter Ravenna Golden, released via NLV Records. LISTEN HERE.

A larger-than-life club track, Ninajirachi and Ravenna Golden craft a sound that digs into the depths of EDM music and polishes it with an infectious bounce. With a roaring bassline and Ninajirachi’s signature icy percussion, the track is brought to life with Ravenna Golden’s pop-punk vocals that are drenched in attitude.

Embracing all corners of dance music and hyperpop, ‘1×1’ is a textured piece of production that makes a bold addition to both artists’ already expansive catalogues. Speaking to the track Ninajirachi reveals, “This is honestly the style of music that raised me. All of my first productions when I was 12 were stabs at big 2010’s dance-pop EDM songs. I think I’ve improved a bit since then though, so it’s been fun to try that style again a literal decade later. I loved working with Ravenna too, she is so charismatic and fun to be with in the studio. We’ve been online mutuals for probably around five years so it was really cool to meet in LA in 2022 and I can’t wait to have her in Aus for Dark Crystal in a couple of months.”

A frequent collaborator with the likes of 100 Gecs, Umru, LIZ, Lewis Grant, Ravenna Golden shares of this collaboration, “The opportunity to work with Nina was such a privilege. working with other women in music, especially producers is always so exciting, but beyond that, the song is an absolute banger and I’m thrilled to have it out in the world”

‘1×1’ follows some major 2022 breakout moments from both artists and arrives off the back of Ravenna Golden’s Ms. Genius EP and Ninajirachi’s debut mixtape Second Nature. Second Nature saw Ninajirachi take widespread success, gracing NME Magazine Australia’s cover story, playlisting ontriple j and Unearthed alongside community radio station FBi Radio’s Album of the Week, placements in Best of 2022 album lists for The Guardian Australia and NME respectively alongside praise from Bandcamp, Rolling Stone, The OZ, Pilerats, Music Feeds, and others alongside guest mixes across Dublab and Crack Magazine.

Wrapping up a busy summer season playing Wildlands Festival, Beyond The Valley, Field Day andSpilt Milk, of which NME Australia praised her as “the most underrated artist in Australian dance music”, Ninajirachi has hit the ground running this year alone, kicking off the year with a remix of Cub Sport’s ‘Keep Me Safe’ as well as a remix EP of Second Nature with reworks from Motez, PARIS and more.

Ninajirachi has recently announced she will be taking her live performance to North America, including upcoming performances at Lollapalooza and HARD Summer. She also returns with the second installment of her music event, Dark Crystal 2.0, which will take place in Sydney and Melbourne in May with Donatachi, Ravenna Golden, Sus1er, and Scan, as well as a Vivid LIVE 2023 performance with NLV Records.
