Swedish alt-pop producer and vocalist DJ Suzy today shares ‘so sw33t’ – a rework of her latest anthem ‘sw33t’ featuring boundary-breaking Baltimore singer-songwriter Nourished By Time. LISTEN HERE.

Released last month with the news of her forthcoming debut album Kira Krash (out Oct 23), DJ Suzy’s sparkling original release ‘sw33t’ sought praise across BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop, Clash Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, NME, Dance Wax, Still Listening Magazine and more, including the attention of the NTS Radio Breakfast Show to Numero lauding her as “one of the most intriguing new voices to emerge from Scandinavia.”

Reimagining the original single, Nourished By Time adds his trademark smooth delivery with a brand new verse into the single that speaks to the yearning and lingering of love. Fitting seamlessly into DJ Suzy’s curated world with new life, Nourished By Time shares “Sweet is really deceptive complex pop song that really struck me melodically and harmonically. I’m excited for people to hear much more DJ Suzy.” DJ Suzy adds “I absolutely love what Marcus added to this song. His melodies are incredible, and he’s such an amazing artist. Nourished By Time is the musical project of Baltimore-born artist Marcus Brown, who’s emotionally charged blend of post-punk, New Wave, R&B, electro-funk, and experimental indie pop reflects a deeply personal and sharply observational voice, as captured on his releases Erotic Probiotic 2, Catching Chickens and most recent The Passionate Ones. A metamodernist, Nourished By Time crafts music that is as soulful as it is subversive; tackling themes of love, labor, existentialism, dreams, disillusionment, and hope.

The project of DJ Suzy is embedded in meticulous world-building, with a sound that takes shape through earnest depictions of connection in the digital age. Since the release of her debut single ‘Wings’ in 2023, DJ Suzy quickly returned with her debut mixtape Haunted Disc in late-2024 and Haunted Disc (Remixes) in 2025, which featured tracks including ‘Digital Girl’, ‘Caught By A Wind’ and her own funk remix of ‘Digital Girl’.

Named after her chaotic alter ego, DJ Suzy’s forthcoming debut album Kira Krash tells visceral and immersive stories. Inviting listeners into a dollhouse fantasy that’s equal parts dreamy and destructive, Kira Krash is built on a foundation of bubbling synths, G-funk basslines, alt-pop, R&B and breakbeat, as DJ Suzy confronts a version of herself she can no longer outrun in one of her most sonically intimate releases yet.
