ONE OFF TRAKS open applications for 2025
Returning for their third year, Offbeat Collective’s pioneering all female, trans and non-binary writing camp ONE OFF TRAKS returns today to announce open applications for the Class of 2025. APPLY HERE.
ONE OFF TRAKS is a targeted initiative to address the gender imbalance and marginalisation in the music industry. Directed by Jannah Beth and Minori Ueda and supported by Creative Australia, JD Sports and Fellr, the annual writing camp will provide both established and emerging female, non-binary and trans creatives with the resources, opportunities, and the facilities necessary to craft world class music. This year’s successful applications will be announced at a launch event on International Women’s Day on March 8th at Offbeat Collective, featuring performances from camp alumni RISSA, POOKIE & Yo.Shi. RSVP HERE.
Opened up to so-called Australia and extended this year to Aotearoa participants, the selected group of producers, artists and songwriters will take part in a multi day writing camp held at Offbeat Collective, featuring a welcome dinner, writing sessions, a showcase, a mixtape release and ongoing development workshops to foster creativity, collaboration, and growth throughout the year.
Speaking at this year’s camp, the ONE OFF TRAKS’ Founder and Program Director Jannah Beth shares “ONE OFF TRAKS started as a shared vision to create a space where female, trans, and non-binary artists could thrive. In just a few years, it’s grown into something bigger than we ever imagined, a movement that fosters collaboration, builds lasting creative relationships, and amplifies voices that deserve to be heard. With the support of our partners and community, we’re excited to take it even further in 2025.”
With a heavyweight list of alumni, including ARIA-nominated singer Chanel Loren, POOKIE, GLO, Dylan Atlantis, PA777IENCE and Ms Thandi, ONE OFF TRAKS today announce that multidisciplinary creative and 2024 alumni Jamaica Moana will be joining as an official ambassador, who alongside her music is also a leader in the Australian ballroom community.
As ambassador, Jamaica Moana shares “Last year’s camp was so pivotal to my growth as an artist. Connecting with the plethora of talent within our immediate network was the highlight. Then to make music with them? Wow. After experiencing the importance of ONE OFF TRAKS, I lowkey wanted to represent this camp from the jump. To be asked to be the 2025 ambassador, was an honour that I knew I was ready for. The deep change we know needed in our industry is the focus on POC talent – in my case – specifically QPOC, who are – more often than not – overlooked in application processes. This year, I’m excited to further the inclusion of BIPOC, QPOC, TPOC artists who truly deserve this opportunity. The talents within our communities deserve to be heard before seen.”
ONE OFF TRAKS began as a vision shared by four friends — Nazlican Eren, Carolina Gasolina, Minori Ueda, and Jannah Beth — and came to life through a collaboration between Offbeat Collective, Elefant Traks, and One Day Entertainment. What started as a shared idea has grown into a transformative program, amplifying the voices of female, trans, and non-binary creatives in music.
Looking to 2025, ONE OFF TRAKS will continue to grow as a flagship program, dedicated to empowering underrepresented voices and building on the collaborative spirit that started it all. Applications for this year’s program are now open for Australia and Aotearoa-based artists, producers or songwriters until 5PM February 24. More information HERE.
