P Money, one of grime’s longstanding OG’s returns today with the announcement of Money Over Everyone 4, his latest album in the series, due for release on June 30. In anticipation, the rapper has shared his latest single ‘Wagwarn Mumsy’ including features from Jme, D Double E and Frisco. LISTEN + WATCH HERE.

What was first a mixtape of resistance and assertion of grime’s place in the scene has grown into a longstanding series seminal to the genre’s history. With observations from the heart of the community, P Money exposes the fakers while pulling together the best of his peers on Money Over Everyone 4, including collaborators in Whiney, AJ Tracey, Jme, D Double E, Frisco, Kurupt FM, Blacks, Mez, Novelist, Peezly and Blacks.

Cue ‘Wagwarn Mumsy’: where splintering strings takes aim at the drama, blow by blow delivered by P, Jme, D Double E and Frisco in swift succession. Speaking on the single, P Money says “Imagine you watch a film called ‘Where & When’ and its the best thing you’ve seen and then unexpectedly a part two comes out and it meets every expectation a second one should have.”

Promising to continue his legacy of endurance and place as a “grime scene oracle” (Complex), Money Over Everyone 4 shows how P Money has consistently made it look easy, decade in and out, just as subtly as he can take the mick and still grab the bag. The result is a beat rich, bass heavy 17 tracks that marry eclectic production with P Money’s dubstep influenced flow, and bars ready to cut  with sharp teeth whenever, wherever.

Later this year P Money will debut Money Over Everyone 4 live across his own allstar rave at Fabric and other upcoming appearances with Goldie and Glastonbury. Known for his high-octance live performances, including a sold out appearance with Jme at Bristol’s Motion Night Club, the South East London MC’s style bridges dubstep, grime, rap and drum and bass with distinctive, punchline-based freestyles and intense clashes.
