From the heart of Western Sydney to the stages of Australia’s most iconic festivals, PA777IENCE is an emerging voice reshaping the sound of neo-soul. The Gadigal-based singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist shares a powerful new single, ‘check 1, 2’ featuring Māori/Samoan force Jamaica Moana and produced by acclaimed artist Vetta Borne. Written during the 2024 One Off Tracks writing camp, the song was born in the very first session of the program, where PA777IENCE was paired with Jamaica Moana and Vetta Borne. Their creative energy sparked instantly, and the track came together in just a few hours.
“This track speaks on the feeling of trying to really work on trusting in myself and my abilities,” says PA777IENCE. “I’m levelling with myself, confronting life’s hardships, and in my desperation, calling on ancestors and leaders who’ve paved the way.”
PA777IENCE’s sound is deeply personal, grounded in vulnerability and shaped by a love of soul greats like Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Jazmine Sullivan. Their 2024 debut EP, Mastery, introduced audiences to a rich, emotionally-driven sonic world across six tracks, featuring collaborations with Mo’Ju, GLO, Setwun and Saskia. The release was playlisted by both triple j and fbi.radio, marking a strong entrance into Australia’s R&B and soul scene.
On the live front, PA777IENCE is known for bringing powerful energy to the stage having performed at Vivid Sydney, Sydney Festival, World Pride 2023 and SXSW Sydney, and completed a successful East Coast headline tour in March 2025. Along the way, they’ve supported celebrated artists including Okenyo, Ngaiire and Mo’Ju, and performed alongside Thelma Plum and KUČKA for triple j’s Like A Version. On Friday Oct 24, PA777IENCE will take to the stage at triple j’s Hip Hop Show showcase at Parra Lanes, alongside A.Girl, Devaura, That Gurl Bella and VV Pete.
Recently signed to Niche Productions, PA777IENCE continues to carve a path forward with music that honours the past, reflects the present and focuses on what’s to come.
