Todd Terje, born Terje Olsen, arrived on the Scandinavian dance scene in 2004 and, in short order, became one of its prominent figures beside early supporters Prins Thomas and Hans-Peter Lindstrøm. Terje channeled a voracious appetite for several styles of music — including dub, disco, synth-pop, house, and techno. His acclaimed debut LP It’s Album Time! In 2014 defined the Scandinavian disco sound and marked Terje as one of the most prominent producers of the last decade, featuring the cult anthem ‘Inspector Norse’, which was heralded by Mixmag as the Best Track Of The Year. The record was also recognised as one of The 100 Best Albums of the Decade So Far by Pitchfork.
