Yoni Mayraz
Yoni Mayraz — the London-based keyboardist, composer, and producer who fuses jazz with elements of 90’s New York hip hop, old-school breakbeats, and Middle Eastern music to create shimmering hybrid forms — first burst onto the new jazz scene in 2020 with Rough Cuts, an EP that introduced the world to uniquely fluid style. Since then, he has collaborated with the likes of Ruby Rushton’s Tenderlonious and Dance legend El-B, and toured extensively with his band, performing at Montreux Jazz Festival, The Jazz Cafe London, Brussels Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s London, and more.
In 2023, Mayraz released his critically acclaimed debut album Dybbuk Tse! on Astigmatic Records. It subsequently propelled him to the forefront of the international jazz scene, selling thousands of physical copies worldwide, garnering millions of streams on digital platforms, and earning fans at KEXP, KCRW, BBC 6, Bandcamp, and CLASH.
2025 will see a new chapter for the highly skilled musician, with more music just on the horizon.
