Staying true to the Snakehips trademark forward-thinking dance sound, their modus operandi of working with a broad range of artists leads them to Spanish-born, German vocalist Au/Ra, who rose to prominence in 2018 with her breakout hit ‘Panic Room‘ and then went on to be remixed by CamelPhat and now sits at over 200 million streams. ‘Dancing With A Ghost’ spotlights the joys of electronic production and a showcase of talent, with smooth, synth harmonies courtesy of Au/Ra, diving between a house-heavy bassline and star-power vocals.

Of the collaboration, Snakehips share, “We wrote dancing with a ghost out in LA in the late summer. It was one of the first sessions we did after releasing our album & we were really loving being back in the studio and having some fun with it. We were messing around with some glitchy synths and vocal chops and Au/Ra’s voice has such a clean & pure tone that suited the song so well!”
