With roots in dreamy indie-pop and left-of-center psychedelia, ‘If You Want Me’ radiates with upbeat energy and an infectious rhythm. Speaking on the story behind ‘If You Want Me’, Sports share “The song is about choosing love over control. It’s a plea to stop trying to mold someone into our idea of who they should be, and instead accept them exactly as they are. And also wanting the same in return.”

The track also arrives alongside a monochromatic, glitch-heavy music video, packed with flashing visuals and distortion that visually mirrors the song’s warped brightness and layered sonic textures.
