The ascendant vocalist joins Steve Taylor’s roster at ATC Live (SPRINTS, Rianne Downey, Opus Kink), who shares “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Stella to the ATC Live roster and to be part of her journey. She is a phenomenal talent, effortlessly capturing deep emotion and human experience through her poetic storytelling and masterful songwriting. I’m incredibly excited to help bring her music to wider audiences on this side of the world and know she will leave her mark on everyone who experiences her live show on the upcoming festivals and and headline shows.”
A cogent musician and creative across forms, Stella Bridie writes for the long walk home from the party where mind games dance. Balancing the catharsis of indie rock with etchings of pop-impulses – think a mix of Julia Jacklin, boygenius, and Ethel Cain; at times pristinely polished and at others with scabbed knees. She conceptualises disillusionment with gripping imagery.
With her debut EP Speaking Terms, Stella Bridie arrived as a songwriter with conviction. Confident with every move, deeply intentional, indebted to having the final word, Speaking Terms calls on perspective – moments of pain are inevitable, but they don’t have to ruin your life.
Riding off the EP’s widespread acclaim from Vogue Australia, Rolling Stone, NME, 10 Magazine, Ones To Watch, Bandcamp and embrace across Spotify’s Fresh Finds (ANZ Cover + US), Apple Music’s New Music Daily, Antidote, Breaking Rock, triple j, triple j Unearthed and SiriusXM’s AltNation.
Believe the reviews: “Her debut EP, ‘Speaking Terms’, lasts all of 15 minutes, but its songs will linger in your head long after the final note“ as featured across the NME 100; “Stella Bridie’s powerful delivery makes every word feel imbued with intention while at times often plain-spoken and to the point,” in triple j’s Unearthed Forecast to “spine-tingling” (Vogue Australia) – Stella Bridie’s music leaves a lasting mark.
