| Ninajirachi today unveils a new remix from I Love My Computer, with a reworked version of her daine collaboration from underscores – ‘It’s You (underscores’ “it’s U” Remix). LISTEN HERE.
Adding new layers of dimension to Ninajirachi and daine’s ‘It’s You’ dance-pop original, underscores fits seamlessly into the curated world with complimentary broken beat, dubstep rhythm. underscores shares “I love my computer too” and teaming up for the first time, the remix joins a string of reworks that expand on the world Nina has cultivated with her acclaimed debut record I Love My Computer. From Frost Children’s mind-bending ‘F*ck My Computer’, Effy’s heavy club ‘CSIRAC’ and horsegiirL’s euphoric hardstyle ‘Delete’, the release also follows Ninajirachi and Frost Children’s ‘SISTERS‘, a track inspired by the title of Frost Children’s 2025 album SISTER. San Francisco-based Filipino-American artist April Harper Grey began releasing music as underscores in middle school, sharing a steady stream of Soundcloud one-offs and building a community of like-minded fans. Her 2017 EP skin purifying treatment marked a breakthrough, and by 2021, debut album fishmonger propelled underscores from DIY origins to opening for 100 gecs on their U.S. tour. Since then, she has played major festival stages including Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, FVDED in the Park, and Corona Capital CDMX, opened for Porter Robinson and Danny Brown, and surpassed 42 million global streams. Now signed to Mom+Pop, underscores continues to push boundaries with genre-defying releases like the concept album Wallsocket and collaborations with Oklou and Yaeji. Since its release in August last year, Ninajirachi’s I Love My Computer has been emphatically praised as a generational debut album locally and abroad. Released via NLV Records, I Love My Computer is a boundary-pushing, culturally resonant record praised as a defining shift in the 2025 music landscape. Recognised culturally as a leader reshaping the role of female and non-binary artists in her genre, the record set a benchmark for the future of Australian electronic music. Ninajirachi will soon be heading on a run of UK/EU dates this March ahead of her debut at renowned festivals Coachella and Primavera Sound, support slot alongside Oklou in New York City and biggest Australian headline tour as part of her longstanding Dark Crystal series in July.
