An anonymous duo hailing from Nevada (USA), Clown Core are an experimental and mysterious cult act known for their breakneck fusion of jazz, extreme metal and absurdist mayhem. Known for their cryptic online presence, their 2008 debut ‘Surreal Cereal’ quickly established them as a band that twists experimental arrangements into their own and “defies categorisation” (New Noise Magazine).

In their career, they’ve gone on to release 3 albums – Clown Core, Toilet and Van – as well as an EP, 1234, which has collected millions of streams and seen support across the board from NTS Radio, Double J, BBC Radio 6 and more for their “furiously technical and laugh-out-loud blend of jazz, electronic music, and extreme metal” (Pitchfork) that is “genre-defying” (ABC News).

Although a seemingly rare act to catch live, Clown Core have brought their captivating live show to global stages including Coachella and soon, to Hobart’s Dark Mofo alongside headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth this June. For all tour details, see BELOW.
