A host of art collectives and 3D visual and projection artists made up of Zender Bender, Danny Wild (Low Flung), Ego & Belvie, Sam Whiteside (Voena), Gina, Tablou Collective and more will also be in attendance, working together to create immersive experiences for audience members to engage and interact with each performance, including the ‘Portal of Curiosities’ presented by Hendrick’s.
In celebration and praise of each others talent, the artists, together with Australian labels Rice Is Nice, Bedroom Suck, Moontown Records, Strange Yonder and I OH YOU, have also put together a series of remixes, mixes and exclusive collaborations with each others tracks set to be released in the coming weeks and performed live at Volumes.
Now presenting more than 80 local music and visual artists, labels and collectives at the vanguard of Australia’s creative community, the young multi-venue festival further attests its dedication to reigniting Sydney’s inner city by teaming up with the not-for-profit group Do Darlo whose aim is to support business to business collaboration to showcase some of the best local food outlets and businesses in the neighbourhood. More details to be announced soon.
Volumes and event sponsors ROLLA’s JEANS will also be joining forces with a handful of artists to design and create a run of exclusive limited edition band merchandise set to be released and sold at the event.
The festival will be taking place on August 26 and 27 across 6 carefully constructed stages and immersive spaces including Oxford Square, the Oxford Art Factory, The Cliff Dive, The Burdekin Hotel and Brighton Up Bar.
