Wiki shares new track ‘Eggs’ produced by Madlib
New York rapper Wiki returns with new single ‘Eggs’, the first release on the emcee’s own label Wikset Enterprise. Produced by Madlib, ‘Eggs’ trades the 8-bit treble heavy production of ‘Cheat Code’ for a soulful beat and sharp delivery. Listen HERE.
The track follows the release of two singles at the top of the year, ‘Cheat Code‘ and his collaboration with Obongjayar & JJ on ‘Elixir‘. He was also featured on the recently released track with Mike, ‘Crux‘, which is on Sporting Life’s upcoming EP.
Audiences have watched the Manhattan-born Patrick Morales chronicle the streets that raised him throughout his career. Now 25, the rapper is not quick to forget the highs and lows of the boroughs, keeping the image of himself at his lowest clear in our minds and at the forefront of his bars. As established on No Mountains in Manhattan, Wiki continues to bridge the gap generationally sans pastiche, carrying himself with an old school type of confidence.
The list of accolades and collaborations for the young rapper is endless – partnering with the likes of Skepta, Earl Sweatshirt, Antwon, Jesse James Solomon and more, plus production credits from Kaytranada, Lee Bannon and Sporting Life on his 2017 record. For the rapper, more music is on the horizon.
‘Eggs‘ is out now via Wikset Enterprises, buy/stream it here.
