Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum artist, and humanitarian YG has just released JUST RE’D UP 3, the eagerly awaited third instalment of his acclaimed Just Re’d Up mixtape series. This highly anticipated project reaffirms YG’s commanding presence in the West Coast hip-hop scene, showcasing his unparalleled artistry and reinforcing his influential role in shaping contemporary music. LISTEN HERE.

JUST RE’D UP 3 features standout collaborations with Saweetie, Larry June, Lil Yachty, Mozzy, Baby Stone Gorillas, Tee Grizzley, Jaye Anderson, Diamondz Platinum, Kalan FrFr,  Akrite, G Herbo, Babyface Ray, and TY$. This year, YG has already released five singles from the project: ‘LOVE MAKE‘, ‘STUPID‘, ‘SHAKE‘ and ‘KNOCKA‘, each accompanied by striking music videos. As the first release distributed under YG’s new multi-album global recordings partnership with BMG through his 4Hunnid label, JUST RE’D UP 3 highlights YG’s dynamic range and enduring influence in the music industry.

The album’s cover art pays homage to YG’s earlier work JUST RE’D UP 3, depicting him in all black with a red Louis Vuitton duffle bag and three luxurious cars, symbolising his journey and road to success. For JUST RE’D UP 3, YG reunites with DJ Mustard for multiple tracks, as Mustard was instrumental in the first two Just Re’d Up releases. The original Just Re’d Up mixtape introduced a brand new sound to the West Coast music scene and marked the debut of DJ Mustard’s now-famous producer tag, “Mustard on da beat, hoe” coined by YG himself.

The mixtape also boasts notable production contributions from Mustard, Wheezy, Larry J, Mike Crook, Bandz, and more, adding a diverse and dynamic range of beats as fans journey though the two discs. With these long-lasting partnerships, YG delivers a powerful project that revitalizes the legacy of classic West Coast rap while once again crafting the resonant sound of modern-day West Coast hip-hop. This album makes a significant cultural impact, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the genre as well as rising stars. YG continues to shape the contemporary scene, making JUST RE’D UP 3 a defining project that nurtures a new generation of fans while still catering to the OG fan base.

Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, professionally known as YG, made his mark in hip-hop with the 2010 hit ‘Toot It and Boot It’, securing a deal with Def Jam Recordings. Joining Young Jeezy’s CTE World in 2013, his single ‘My Nigga’ paved the way for his acclaimed debut album, ‘My Krazy Life’ in 2014. YG’s musical journey includes hits like ‘Left, Right’, ‘Go Loko’ and ‘Who Do You Love?’. Notably, ‘Don’t Tell ‘Em’ stands as his highest charting feature, peaking at number 6 on the Hot 100, while ‘Big Bank’ is his highest charting solo record, reaching number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His studio albums include Still Brazy (2017), Stay Dangerous (2018), 4Real 4Real (2019), My Life 4Hunnid (2020), and I Got Issues (2022). Additionally, he’s released collaborative albums like Kommunity Service with Mozzy (2021) and Hit Me When U Leave the Klub: The Playlist with Tyga (2023). With over 10 billion global streams, a string of multi-platinum, platinum, gold certifications, and four consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, the Compton native’s impact resonates profoundly within the music industry.

YG’s influence has been evident through his activism during the 2020 protests, marked by releases like ‘FTP (Fuck the Police)’, and ‘War’. He is also respected by the Spanish community for his contributions to West Coast culture, as showcased in his modeling debut walking in California-based Mexican-American designer WIlly Chavarria’s show at New York Fashion Week. YG’s own lifestyle brand, 4HUNNID, continues to impact at the intersection of fashion and culture, featuring lines such as ‘The Flame Footwear’ with the sought-after Block Runner series, his foray into loungewear with the Komfort Kollection, and new venture in the wellness space with Cherry Bomb, demonstrating his versatility and entrepreneurial vision across verticals.

As a humanitarian, YG remains dedicated to his community, donating $100,000 worth of food for Juneteenth and establishing the nonprofit 4HUNNID Ways, providing $10,000 in PPE to Los Angeles families in Emergency Crisis Housing due to COVID-19. Over the years, he’s partnered with a handful of like-minded organizations that are adjacent to his advocacy work, to conduct local holiday givebacks, and more.
