Built for international dance floors, ‘Hands In Di Air’ combines pulsating electronic drums, atmospheric synth textures and a powerful rhythmic foundation. At its core sits a chant-style hook where voices unite in a choir-like refrain repeating the song’s title, capturing the collective energy of a crowd moving together in a shared moment on the dance floor.
“We were in London for meetings and sessions, and even though we were exhausted at the end of the day, when we got back to the hotel we suddenly felt incredibly creative,” says Zanillya. “In that same week we made both ‘Baddie’ and ‘Hands In Di Air.’ The idea sat on the laptop for a while, but we always felt there was something special about it. When we eventually shared it with Field Supply, they immediately gravitated toward the record and asked if they could release it.”
Humphrey Dennis adds, “From the start we wanted to create something that feels like a real crowd moment. The chant, the rhythm, the drop, it’s built for that instant when the whole room lifts together. That energy is what ‘Hands In Di Air’ is all about.”
