Getdown Services, aka Josh Law and Ben Sadler, posses a seemingly endless ability to write, perform, and produce songs that capture modern life with a uniquely acerbic wit and playfulness. Their wiles have been clear ever since one of their first shows outside of the UK at La Zad in France, where they were still able to have a great time playing the whole set to a dog and man smoking a bong facing the wrong way around. They’ve come a long way since that gig: Walton Goggins, Troye Sivan, and BBC Radio all love them, to name a few diehard fans. They have brought their “high-octane, low-culture genius” (The Guardian) to the likes of Glastonbury, their hometown/Bristol’s Beacon theater, and packed rooms around the globe; they’re set to play with CMAT at LIDO Festival in London this summer in addition to US/UK/EU touring.
